'Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya', the remake of the Malayalam movie 'Maheshinte Prathikaram', has completed its Censor formalities. It has got 'U' from CBFC.

The news is that the human drama, directed by 'Care Of Kancharapalem' director Venkatesh Maha, will be bypassing theatrical release. It will release on an OTT platform. The director has told The Hindu that the film will arrive on OTT either towards the end of June or in the beginning of July.

Starring Sathyadev in the lead, the film also features Naresh, Suhaas, Jabbardast Ramprasad, TNR, Ravindra Vijay and K Raghavan. Set in the Araku Valley, its music is by Bijbal, a winner of the National Award. Cinematography is by Appu Prabhakar.
