'Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya', which has hit Netflix without much ado, is in the news for a peculiar reason. A particular scene in the movie, involving a die-hard fan of Jr NTR (played by 'Majili' fame Suhaas) and a fan of Mahesh Babu (played by a female artist), has not gone down well with the fans of the 'Bharat Ane Nenu' actor.

Suhaas's character cribs that Mahesh slays baddies in his films without making bodily movements. "So lazy," Suhaas says about the 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actor. He passes this comment when an explosive action scene from 'Simhadri' plays out on TV.

The scene would be non-controversial if you see it as a fanboy's partisan take on an actor he is not fond of. The film itself is non-judgemental and doesn't seem to take sides.

However, several tweeples are out to make it sound controversial. Several fans of the 'RRR' actor are trolling Mahesh using the particular scene as fodder. They are also happy that their perspective has found a voice in the movie.

In real life, though, the two heroes respect each other. Jr NTR calls Mahesh as 'Anna'.
