Kamal Hassan is known for his impressive diction and command over the Tamil language both on and off screen. The legend's love for the Tamil poet Subramaniya Bharati is a known fact.
Yesterday marked the 96th anniversary of the Mahakavi's passing and the Padmashree awardee took to Twitter to express his feelings. "96 years have gone by since Bharati died. His writings have helped revolutionise generations of illiterate through his patriotic songs. But will the seeds of revolution sowed by Bharati embolden today's youth to stand up for issues?" the actor tweeted.
Fans and followers who consider Kamal to be the living embodiment of Bharati have voiced their support to the Ulaganayan if at all he chooses to enter the political ring.
