The highly anticipated film 'Thug Life', starring Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and directed by Mani Ratnam, recently wrapped up its shooting. While earlier reports hinted at a Pongal 2025 release, sources now suggest the film may be delayed due to its extensive post-production work. The latest buzz indicates that 'Thug Life' is now eyeing a Summer 2025 release.

With 'Thug Life' moving to summer, Ajith Kumar’s 'Vidaamuyarchi' is reportedly locked for a Pongal 2025 release. However, there is speculation surrounding another Ajith film, 'Good Bad Ugly', which was also aiming for a Pongal debut. Sources say that 'Good Bad Ugly' will likely shift to a Summer 2025 release to avoid clashing with 'Vidaamuyarchi'. This news has quickly gone viral among fans.

'Thug Life' is a gangster action saga featuring an ensemble cast, including Simbu, Trisha, Joju George, and others, with music composed by AR Rahman. Meanwhile, 'Vidaamuyarchi', directed by Magizh Thirumeni, is a road thriller starring Ajith Kumar alongside Trisha, Arjun, Arav, and Regina Cassandra, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the soundtrack.
