Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan produced Sivakarthikeyan's latest release "Amaran" under his Raaj Kamal Films International. The film, which is the biopic of Major Mukund Varadarajan, is setting a new benchmark critically and commercially. Kamal has now thanked the audience for the success through a heartfelt note:

"The film 'Amaran' has received a tremendous response at every theater it’s screened in. When announcing the film, I stated, 'Some works bring joy; others bring honor and pride. Amaran will bring pride to all of us.' The success of "Amaran", which was released after more than 1,000 days of hard work, has strengthened my belief that 'people will celebrate a good movie.'

Major Mukund Varadarajan fought valiantly for our nation and sacrificed his life for it. His loss was deeply felt by his daughter, his loving wife, his devoted parents, and close friends, whose tears cannot be measured. 'Amaran' is our humble tribute to both his spilt blood and the tears of his loved ones. This story isn’t merely about one man; it is the story of every soldier who protects India and every family that supports them.

Sivakarthikeyan, fully embodying the character, lived as Major Mukund Varadarajan, dedicating himself completely to bringing this real-life hero to the screen. Through 'Amaran', Sivakarthikeyan’s acting career has reached a new dimension. I do not doubt that his full-hearted contribution and hard work in this film will be appreciated by fans for years to come. Congratulations, Sivakarthikeyan.

Major Mukund Varadarajan’s loving wife, Indhu Verghese, is a true pillar of strength, carrying the pride of being an army wife despite her profound personal loss. Sai Pallavi has transformed herself into this courageous character, and her presence has greatly elevated this movie. GV Prakash has breathed life into 'Amaran' with his music, applying the same dedication he brought to his first film.

Director Rajkumar Periyasamy, aware that making a movie about a great hero is no simple feat, carried out extensive research, fieldwork, and data gathering to craft an engaging screenplay. He overcame numerous challenges to film in difficult terrains, bringing forth 'Amaran' as a tribute to Major Mukund Varadarajan. Rajkumar Periyasamy’s passion, dedication, and commitment are truly commendable.

A great film isn’t just one person’s dream; it’s a shared vision that the entire team, from the director and lead actor to the producers, must work on with trust and dedication. Sai, the cinematographer, editor Kalai, and all other technicians and actors have worked with unwavering commitment, bringing to life the shared dream that is 'Amaran'.

India is a land of festivals. While we celebrate festivals safely and joyfully with our families, let us remember the soldiers who stand guard against our enemies, the citizens who keep our daily lives running smoothly, and the frontline workers who work tirelessly day and night. We must pass down their bravery, sacrifices, and contributions to the younger generations.

By making 'Amaran', we wanted to create a fitting tribute to a brave Tamil soldier and offer audiences a glimpse into the sacrifices of military families. My brother R. Mahendran, our team at Raaj Kamal Films International, and I feel immense pride in presenting this film. Jai Hind!"
