Kamal Haasan lauds Suba Veerapandian for upholding Tamil pride

DK leader Suba Veerapandian is conducting a debate on the Archeological Survey of India`s decision to transfer the archeologist who worked on the Keezhadi site which revealed an ancient Tamil settlement dating 3BC which had trade links with the Roman empire. Other controversies include the artifacts taken away from the sites which many Tamil scholars perceive as a deliberate attempt to suppress the findings.

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has extended his support by stating "Comrade Suba Veerapandian`s evening event is the first step of victory...The refusal not to let Tamil pride stay in Keezhadi is a nonviolent war that will continue..."
