Is Kamal Haasan reviving his long-shelved project with H Vinoth?

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan with is busy juggling between the biggies 'Indian 2', 'KH233' and 'KH234'. Notably, the legendary actor is also penning the story for the 'KH 233' project to be directed by H Vinoth. As per the sources, it is said to be an action film set against the military backdrop.
Now, the latest hot buzz is that discussions are going on to name the film 'Thalaivan Irukkindran', which was the title of Kamal's shelved project. He was set to direct the movie back in 2019 but it didn't take off. Thalaivan Irukkindran was rumoured to be a sequel to Kamal's 1994 cult classic Thevar Magan.
We hear that the story of KH233 is the same story of the dropped Thalaivan Irukkindran project. The film had AR Rahman as music director and Vijay Sethupathi, Saif Ali Khan and Vadivelu were said to be a part of the cast. It is yet to be seen if those artists will be on board 'KH233' as well. An official confirmation is awaited if both the projects have the same story.
