We already broke to you that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan will be one of the chief guests in the lavish 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' audio & trailer launch. The big ticket event is slated to take place today in Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai at 6 PM. The hot news is that Kamal will fly abroad after the PS-2 function.

According to sources, Kamal Haasan will jet off to Taipei (Taiwan) along with the cast and crew on April 1st for a 4-day schedule of 'Indian 2'. The team will move to Johannesburg, South Africa for the filming of a massive action sequence set in a train after the Taiwan schedule. The South Africa shooting will go on for around 25 days. He will be back in the country by April end.

'Indian 2' directed by Shankar is a sequel to the 1996 vigilante super hit. With music by Anirudh, the movie is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. The makers have planned to wrap up the entire shooting by April and the producers are aiming for a Diwali 2023 release. It also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha and many others.
