Director Shankar plans to unveil ‘Indian 2’ and ‘Indian 3’ at the same time?

We all know that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and director Shankar have reunited for the sequel to their 1996 vigilante blockbuster, ‘Indian’. This film has been in production since 2017. Finally, ‘Indian 2’ is gearing up to hit the screens this year. Recent reports suggest that there will be an ‘Indian 3’ as well.

Sources tell us that ‘Indian 2’ and ‘Indian 3’ are shot together by the team. It is said that the makers are currently working on the trailers of both films. The ‘Indian 2’ trailer will be action-packed and very grand. It is slated to be unveiled next month. Meanwhile, the trailer of ‘Indian 3’ will be attached at the end of Indian 2 in theatres with the tentative release date.

Reportedly, ‘Indian 2’ is set to hit the screens on July 12 and ‘Indian 3’ is likely to be released next year. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan reprises his role as Senapathy, an ageing freedom fighter turned vigilante who fights against corruption. Anirudh composes music for these films. On the work front, Kamal Haasan is currently filming for ‘Thug Life’.
