Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan hosted a lavish birthday party for fellow celebrities and fans yesterday. The legendary actor reportedly confirmed at the event that the sequel of his 1996 blockbuster 'Indian' will be released in two parts, 'Indian 2' and 'Indian 3'.

Director Shankar made the original film back then which revolves around Senapathi aka Indian, a freedom fighter turned vigilante to eradicate the corruption in the country. Now, he is helming the sequels. We already informed you that the makers have decided to go with two parts due to excessive footage and Kamal gave an extra 40 days to complete the shoot.

The latest hot news is that the shooting of the Indian threequel resumes this week in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan will be joining the filming and the remaining portions will be shot back to back. This schedule will go on for 12 days. Kamal Haasan also has 'Kalki 2898AD', 'KH 233' and 'Thug Life' in his pipeline.
