Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan stands as a stalwart of Indian cinema, celebrated globally for his multifaceted talents and numerous awards. Notably, he is among the few Tamil stars who made a significant impact in Bollywood, particularly during the 1980s and 1990s. His memorable performances in cult classics such as ‘Ek Duuje Ke Liye’, ‘Sadma’, ‘Saagar’, ‘Chachi 420’, ‘Hey Ram’, ‘Mumbai Express’, and others have solidified his reputation in the industry.
Recent reports indicate that Kamal Haasan is poised for a comeback in Bollywood with a new action film, co-starring Salman Khan. This ambitious project will be directed by Atlee, who previously helmed the blockbuster ‘Jawan’ featuring Shah Rukh Khan, which grossed over 1000 crores. Further details about this highly anticipated film are eagerly awaited, with Atlee currently working on the script for what will be his sixth directorial venture.
The official announcement regarding this yet-to-be-titled film is expected soon, with filming slated to begin in 2025. Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is busy shooting for the gangster saga ‘Thug Life’ directed by Mani Ratnam, and he also stars as the antagonist in ‘Kalki 2898 AD Part 2’. On the other hand, Salman Khan is currently working on ‘Sikandar’, directed by AR Murugadoss.
