Kamal Haasan was back in cinema mode for the trailer and audio launch press meet of 'Viswaroopam 2' for which he is serving as the hero, producer and director. Speaking at the occassion the Ulaganayagan revealed that the film is not only the sequel to 'Viswaroopam' but its prequel too. He candidly stated that this time there will be very less talk and more of action and that the number of prints worldwide would be equal to a Hollywood biggie.

Kamal thanked the entire cast and crew including heroines Andrea Jeremaiah, Pooja Kumar, villain Rahul Bose and character actors Nasser, Shekar Kapur and Anant Mahadevan. Regarding the problems that he could face like he did at the time of the original's release, Kamal said that this time he was prepared to face it not only as a an artiste but also as a politician.
