Just as DCM's release date was recently advanced from August first week to July 27, the release of UKUP too has been advanced from Aug 2 to July 27. Thus, Ravi Teja-Prakash Raj duo are going to clash with Balayya-Manoj duo on the same day.

"There is a curiosity about the subject matter of the film. People are wondering whether it is a mass entertainer or a fantasy," the makers say. The title has, from the beginning, had a ring of comedy to it.

Deeksha Seth, Panchi Bora, Sonu Sood, Prabhu, Rishi and others are part of the cast. Cinematography is by Rajsekhar. Music is by Bobo Sashi. Sekhar Raja is the director.

Both DCM and UKUP promise to be hatke films. While Balayya, Manoj's role, the mysterious element are three of the UKUP's selling points, DCM has the advantage of being a masala entertainer. PJ's dialogues, RT's heroism, Illeana's "mass character," Prakash Raj's performance and the comedy track of Brahmi-Kovai are DCM's USP. It is to be seen which of these two will generate bigger openings.
