The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle gave birth to a healthy boy yesterday. The royal family took it to their official Instagram handle and posted "We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz".
The royal family added that the Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and that the couple thanked public for sharing their excitement and supporting during the special time of their lives.Prince Harry and Meghan are yet to finalize the name for their newborn boy.
Furthermore on Twitter, the royal family revealed that Doria Ragland, the mother of the Duchess who is happy and excited with her first grandchild's arrival is with Royal Highnesses at Frogmore Cottage. Meghan Markle had went into labour in early hours of Monday.Earlier in October last year, Prince Harry and Meghan revealed during their trip to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji that they are expecting their first child.
