'Ugram' Success

The initial week collection has put the entire team of ÂUgram Kannada cinema on the driver seat. Prashanth Neel is regarded as an excellent technician in the Kannada filmdom for his unique handling of screenplay and shots. It is not just the investment coming back but it is also birth of a new technician in Prashanth Neel. Prashanth is also close relative of actor Srimurali and producer of this film.
I have met the expectations and hopefully in the coming week I would be safe. I am going for re-censor of the film soon to fetch good returns in the satellite rights says Prashanth Neel. According to him the budget is roughly around Rs.6 crores for his debut film with three years of time consumption.
This is the first film actor Srimurali and Haripriya earned a staggering Rs.5.5 crores giving a share of Rs.2.75 crore to the producer. This was disclosed by Mallikarjun on behalf of Toogudeepa Distribution that has taken its first outside banner film.
The team of ÂUgram went to various district headquarters to give thanks to people after first week was screened at the success meet.
The charming lady Haripriya was extremely happy at the success meet at Citadel Hotel on the film ÂUgram response and the ability of director cum producer Prashanth Neel. Workshop, good planning done for the film was high point of the director she said.
It is fulfillment of 3 years dream said Tilak, dialogue writer Ram Sri Lakshman, editor Srikanth and Bhuvana one of the three cameramen were present on the dais.
Apparently three cameramen have worked for this film  Ravi Verman (of Ram Leela fame), Ravi Kumar Sana and Bhuvan Gowda.
