Actress Udita Goswami's allegation that her role in "Zeher" was chopped while Shamita Shetty's was extended has not upset either director Mohit Suri or producers Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt.

"I think she was led into saying something she did not want to say. Neither I, nor my uncles Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt are upset," Suri was quoted.

Although Suri does admit to chopping scenes that involved Udita "for the interest of the story", he feels what must have upset Udita was the second half which saw Shamita in a prominent role.

If there was anything that was not in good taste, it was the statement made by her labelling Shamita an item girl, he said. "She regreted it and called up Shamita to apologize."
