Udhayanidhi: We're trying for an April 6 release

It was widely buzzed this morning that UdhayanidhiÂs acting debut in Tamil cinema, ÂOru Kal Oru Kannadi will see a worldwide release on April 13, as part of Tamil New YearsÂ.
When IndiaGlitz contacted the producer turned actor, he said, ÂWell, weÂre trying our level best to see an April 6 release and work is on in a full swing, but there are several criteria that determine it. WeÂll announce the release date shortlyÂ.
However, whether the film releases on April 6 or 13, itÂs sure to see a solo big release as there are no other biggies scheduled for these two dates and DhanushÂs Â3Â, a romantic entertainer is seeing light of the day come March 30.
ÂOru Kal Oru Kannadi is an out and out laugh riot that brings together director Rajesh and his lucky mascot Santhanam for the third time. Udhay and Hansika play the lead roles and music is by Harris Jayaraj.
Thanks to some promising and funny teasers, trailers and music the expectations on this film are mounting up.
