It was reported already that producer turned actor Udhayanidhi Stalin is currently shooting for Mari Selvaraj directorial 'Maamannan', which is said to be Udhay's last film before he turns into a full-time politician. Vadivelu, Keerthy Suresh and Fahadh Faasil play pivotal roles in the movie with music by AR Rahman.

The latest news is that ‘Maamannan’ has completed its second schedule of shooting in Salem. The shooting for the film first began in March 2022, and the first schedule was wrapped in April. Now, the second schedule of the shooting has been completed. In the BTS pictures, Udhay, Keerthy and Mari Selvaraj were seen feeding the cake to each other.

Udhayanidhi Stalin took to Twitter and shared pictures from the sets, writing, "And it’s the end of #Maamannan 2 nd schedule! Last and final schedule will happen only if @keerthyOfficial and #FahadhFaasil give dates. Please consider! Sorry @mari_selvaraj sir for all the torture and one mores! Thx #Maamannan team!."

The team concluded the shoot by celebrating it by cutting a cake. Reportedly, Fahadh Faasil will be seen as a politician in 'Maamannan', who is said to be the antagonist. Also, Vadivelu is playing a politician and Udhayanidhi Stalin’s father in the movie. Stay tuned for more updates.
