Right from the critically acclaimed hit film 'Manithan', actor Udhayanidhi Stalin has started acting in different genres of films with interesting combinations. After the comic entertainer 'Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen' which happened to be his first release of the year, Udhay is currently acting in director Gaurav Narayan's 'Ippadai Vellum' which seems to be an action thriller and 'Podhuvaga En Manasu Thangam' directed by Thalapathy Prabhu.

Now apart from these two films, the 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi' actor has signed a new film with a kick ass combination.

Udhay will be playing the lead role in veteran director Priyadarshan's next film. The film will be produced by Santhosh under the Moonlight Entertainments banner.

Priyadarshan has directed many Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil films. Some of his popular Tamil films are 'Gopura Vasalile', 'Siraichalai', 'Leysa Leysa' the debut film of Trisha and the National Award winning Kancheevaram. Udhay is teaming up with a highly experienced director like Priyadarshan for the first time in his acting career and this is going to be the big boost for him.
