Mysskin's last movie 'Thupparivaalan' starring Vishal was one of the most critically acclaimed as well as commercially successful films of 2017.  The maverick director had announced his next film with Shantanu Bhagyaraj in the lead role with P.C. Sriram handling the camera and Libra Productions bankrolling.

There is a buzz in Kollywood that due to some unavoidable circumstances the Shantanu-Mysskin project could not take off.  Now it is said that Mysskin will be joining hands with Udhayanidhi Stalin who will be the leading man and will also serve as the producer and shooting set to begin in August.  It is not clear whether this is the same project announced with Shantanu or a new script. Lets wait for the official announcement.

Meanwhile Udhayanidhi Stalin's next release is 'Kannae Kalaimanae' directed by Seenu Ramaswamy in which his leading lady is Tamannaah.
