Kamal Haasan with his comeback film 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and costarring Fahadh Faaisil and Vijay Sethupathi has broken the all time blockbuster hits records in Tamil cinema history. Apart from acting he also has a very interesting lineup of films under production including his own film with Mahesh Narayanan and Sivakarthikeyan's 'SK 21'.
In the meantime Kamal was the chief guest at the 15th year celebrations of Red Giant Movies owned by Udhayanidhi Stalin who distributed 'Vikram' in TN. In the event the Ulaganayagan announced that the 54th film under his banner Raaj Kamal Films International will have Udhay as the hero.
Udhayanidhi Stalin is currently acting in 'Kalagathalaivan' directed by Magizh Thirumeni and 'Maamannan' directed by Mari Selvaraj. He had earlier announced that the latter film would be his last with the intention of concentrating on his political career. But now it looks like he has changed his mind for Kamal of whom he is a hardcore fan.
Incidentally, Udhayanidhi Stalin is also partnering with Lyca Productions to revive Kamal Haasan's magnum opus 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar which has been stalled due to various issues after fifty percent shooting completed.
