Actor Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Gethu' is getting ready to hit the screens on January 14, 2016 as a grand Pongal treat. Today the film has been viewed by the Censor board officials and the process has ended as a good news for Udhay, who has also produced the film under his Red Giant Movies banner.
'Gethu' the film directed by Thirukumaran of 'Maan Karate' fame has achieved a clean 'U' Censor rating. This makes the film eligible for the 30% Entertainment Tax exemption.
'Gethu' is touted to be an action thriller and the trailer has set the tone for the same with its content and making style. The film stars Amy Jackson as the lead heroine while Vikranth is acting as the lead baddie for the first time. Sathyaraj plays an important role as Udhay's father while Karunakaran comes as the hero's friend who is also a cop.
Harris Jayaraj has scored music for the film and the songs that released last week are slowly climbing up on the charts.
