As announced earlier this morning, Udhayanidhi’s ‘Nimir’ trailer hit the web a few moments and it looks spot on tinged with a cultural flavour. As a well paced, unhurried background score carries the trailer forward, the characters in the film are introduced one by one which doesn’t come off as a drag.

There is cuteness as Udhayanidhi tries to arrange his subjects for a photograph as much there is a sense of seriousness in the later portions of the trailer. While the hero is seen along with two leading ladies of the film, Namitha Pramod and Parvatii Nair, there is the obvious curiosity if this could mean a plot on the lines of a love triangle. 

Director Mahendran’s character seems to be easily strong as evident from the few frames in the trailer that he appears for. And isn’t our curiosity just piqued the by symbolism and place in the film that the slippers carried by Udhay reveals. One other impressive aspect of the trailer is the lens work that is neat and expressive. 

In addition to this, the ensemble cast also includes Samuthirakani, Ganja karuppu, M.S.Bhaskar among many others. Darbuka Siva and Ajaneesh Loknath has composed the music score for ‘Nimir’ which is directed by Priyadharshan and bankrolled by Moonshot Entertainments Pvt Ltd.  Here’s the trailer below:
