Actor Siva Karthikeyan who had last appeared in Mr Local is next getting ready for the release of Namma veettu Pillai, his third movie with director Pandiraj after Marina and Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga. Namma Veettu Pillai is produced by Sun Pictures.

Namma Veettu Pillai's audio launch was held recently and the movie has music by D Imman. Anu Emmanuel who had last acted in Tamil in Thupparivalan plays Siva Karthikeyan's pair while Aishwarya Rajesh plays his sister in this movie which is a rural sentimental entertainer.

As the movie is expected to release on September 27 or later, the latest update is that Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies has bagged the Tamil Nadu theatrical distribution of Namma Veettu Pillai. The movie also stars Samuthirakani, Bharathiraja, RK Suresh, Yogi Babu, Soori, Archana and many others.
