Udhaya Bhanu is playing the title role in a film titled 'Madhumathi'. Raj Sridhar is the director and Rani Sridhar is producing the movie in Gomatha Pictures banner. The shooting part of the film has completed and the post-production work is in progress at present.

The director says," Udhaya Bhanu has shown her talent in the key scenes in an excellent way. All the other artists have hesitated, when we planned the under water shoot for a whole day. When Udhaya Bhanu has stepped into the water at first, all the others have also did it, thinking that why they can't do it, when a woman does. The dedication of Udhaya Bhanu can be known with this. One should be so much courageous to act in such scenes, as one can't breathe then. I can certainly say that Udhaya Bhanu is the right choice as the heroine for our film. Our scenes will remain as the underwater scenes without graphics".

Kadiyam Ramesh, the presenter of the film, says," All have worked with dedication for this movie. Udhaya Bhanu has stood out as the inspiration to all. The cameraman Satya V Prabhakar, though fell ill due to underwater shots, has done a great work. The post production work has started and we are planning to release the audio and the movie soon ".

Udhaya Bhanu, Deeksha, Sivakumar, Goutham, Seetha, Telangana Shakunthala, Prabhas Srinu, Venu,Sateesh, Bus-stop Koteswara Rao, Naga Bhairava Arun Kumar etc play the other characters.
