During the promotions of 'Kshana Kshanam', which hit the screens this Friday (February 26), actor Uday Shankar said that the film is a thriller with a difference. After 'Aatagadhara Shiva', which has reportedly done very well on OTT, and 'MisMatch', the actor has done yet another content-oriented movie.
The budding actor, who wants to choose only meaty subjects in his career, has impressed the audience with a subtle act in 'Kshana Kshanam'. It's learned that Uday Shankar always believes in getting into the skin of the character he is playing by first understanding it in detail. That's why he has been able to play contrasting roles so far in his career.
In the first half of the film, Uday Shankar is seen as a subdued husband who is determined to make the cut in life. In such a shade, he is the average man with his own struggles. The scenes between Jia Sharma and him are quite realistic.
In the second half, Uday's acting matures. The struggle his character goes through in the face of some unforeseen circumstances has been narrated quite well. There are twists that deepen the character.
His character is highly relatable, especially in the climax. Uday Shankar is apt for realistic films and thrillers.
Also starring Koti, Raghu Kunche and others, 'Kshana Kshanam' is directed by Karthik Medikonda.
