Popular Bollywood actor of the Dhoom franchise, Uday Chopra, son of late director Yash Chopra, isn’t quite active in the industry as he used to be. However, he has remained active on social media. The actor’s recent tweets have had his fans worried as Uday Chopra has posted tweets contemplating suicide, and also one indicating that he’s depressed.
“For a few hours, I De-activated my twitter account. It felt as close to death as I could get. Was phenomenal! I think this is a good option to suicide. I might be doing it permanently soon.” He added in another post, “I am not ok! I am trying but so far I’m failing.” Concerned responses from netizens started pouring in before Uday deleted the tweets and stated that he’s totally fine. He added that his dark humour was sometimes misunderstood. “Seems like I tweeted something recently that got a few of you worried. I’m totally fine, it's just my dark humour that sometimes gets misunderstood. Thanks for all your concern though,” his last tweet read.
Despite making the last statement, fans are concerned as the clarification was not satisfactory. His history of making such cryptic tweets has them worried as well. The actor’s performance in the Mohabattein and Dhoom franchise was critically acclaimed, with both movies being major blockbusters at the box office.
