As Ubisoft could not hold its usual in-person press conference at E3 in June owing to the coronavirus pandemic, the video game company hosted its annual 'Ubisoft Forward' digital-only event over the weekend, making huge announcements regarding its upcoming games. The main showcase was packed with revelations concerning the studio's highly anticipated games, including Vikings-based Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the recently announced Hyper Scape, the release dates for Far Cry 6, Watch Dogs: Legion, etc.
Far Cry 6, featuring Breaking Bad star Giancarlo Esposito, will supposedly be made available on February 18, 2021 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC and Google’s Stadia. Hyper Scape, the company's upcoming battle royale first-person shooter game, is apparently entering its open beta face and can be downloaded using the company's UPlay service.
Watch Dogs: Legion will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC via Epic, Uplay, and as part of Ubisoft's subscription service, Uplay+, in October. It will be a launch title on PS5 and Xbox Series X. As Legion will be supporting cross-platform buy, PS4 or Xbox One players will get a free copy on the PS5 or Xbox Series X, respectively. Meanwhile, Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be able on 17th November in PS4, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC via Epic, Uplay, and as part of Uplay+. It will be a launch title on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Valhalla will support cross-platform buy.
