New Zealand women’s cricket team player Hayley Jensen tied the knot with Australian cricketer Nicola Hancock last weekend.

Nicola Hancock represents ‘Team Green’ in the Australian T20 league and has played 8 ODIs and 20 T20Is, while Jensen played for the Melbourne Stars in the first two seasons of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) before joining Melbourne Renegades. Melbourne Stars took to Twitter to announce the wedding and posted a picture of the couple from the ceremony. “From #TeamGreen, congratulations to Stars bowler Nicola Hancock who married her partner Hayley Jensen last weekend!” their post was captioned.

Same-sex marriages have been legal in New Zealand since August 19, 2013. Amy Satterthwaite and Lea Tahuhu of the New Zealand women’s cricket team got married last year.
