Two Kannada films ‘Vichitra Premi’ and ‘Sandalwood Guru’ small in investment are releasing in very minimum of theatres in minimum of districts.

The life of eccentric lover is the concept in ‘Vichitra Premi’ that was in the cans for a long time. Ravikumar and Divya Sridhar starring Basavarajappa in his maiden venture that also has the share of actor Ravikumar is a musical love story, boasts music director Gandharva. Nithin Shastry, Ramanuja and Kushala also worked for the film.

Ramakrishna, Sharat Lohitashva, Satyajith, Ravi Teja, Sundarasri, Bank Janardhan, Jayasri are also in the cast.

With an interesting title like ‘Sandalwood Guru’ Manas, grandson of MRL Murthy, camera man of yesteryears is having good support in the technicalities. Manas plays the Achelis and Akshara as Alison.

James Architect has done music for six songs; one of those is a ghost song that is on danger. Santosh Kumar the famous cameraman in Ramanand Sagar camp handled the camera. Akshata Shetty plays the heroine in this film. Achelis as Guru in sandalwood is in search of Alison who is now Maya, Jorden as Ravi, will they recognize each other is the concept of Manas.

We’ll have to see if the audiences accept these two movies that are strong with innovative scripts.
