It is the norm that Thala Ajith has only one movie release a year. But 2013 will be a surprise package for Ajith fans, for two of his movies are likely to line up before the calendar runs out. Ajith-Vishnuvardhan project, tentatively titled 'Valai' is hurrying up in its last schedule in Mumbai. the film has Ajith, Arya, Nayanthara and Taapsee among others. This film is slated for July release.

After wrapping up this project, Ajith will join hands with 'Siruthai' Siva on his next project, which has Ajith, Tamannah and Santhanam to its star cast. Siva has roped in Devi Sri Prasad for music and Vetri for cinematography, and is gearing up for a Diwali release. This means that he will have to complete all the movie-related work within three months.

If all goes well, then Ajith's Vishnu project will hit the screens in July and Siva project will be a Diwali gift, making it two releases for Thala, this year.
