The other day, a 35-second teaser was promised to be released a day after the release of Kabali's audio (Tamil version) in a low-profile event. However, when legions of Rajini's fans were eagerly waiting, there came the dull news that the release was put off for a few days. The producer, thus, left many fans of the Kollywood legend disappointed. As for the Telugu audio, folks may note that they need to wait for a few more days.

If this is not bad enough, here comes the news about a speculation doing the rounds in film circles about the release date of Kabali getting deferred by, well, about two weeks. As of now, as per most sources, the gangster drama is set to hit the marquee on July 1. But at least two reasons suffice to say that it may not happen.

For one, the recent postponement of the release of a 35-second teaser. For another, at least two films are allegedly slated to be released on July 1: Sathyaraj-starrer Jackson Durai, and the social satire Joker. Of course, this is only a presumption at this point of time. Generally speaking, producers in a film industry are as clueless about a biggie's release as are the outsiders.
