Actress Rakshita has reasons to smile this week. Two of her films 'Thayiya Madilu' with superstar Shivarajkumar and Yee Rajiv Gandhi .alla, are releasing this Friday. Another off beat film 'Naayi Neralu' by stalwart director Girish Kasaravalli is releasing on one show a day at PVR this Friday.
A sentiment, action and food for thought films are releasing this week is a notable development in the beginning of the year.
S.Narayan's home banner film 'Thayiya Madilu' also starring Jayasudha the former heartthrob of Telugu films is a cautiously made mother and son sentiment film. S.A.Rajkumar has scored the music while P.K.H.Das is the cameraman. Three songs of this film are shot in Greece, Egypt and Austria by director of repute S.Narayan.
"Yee Rajiv Gandhi . Alla" an action thriller with trials and tribulations of law protectors was locked in the censor battle. In the revised version the film has got U and A certificate from the censor board. Vijaya Raghavendra, Rakshita, Viji, Harish Rai and Nagashekhar are playing the cops role in this film. Dasari Seenu is the cameraman. Sadhu Kokila has scored the music.
A well thought film by national repute director Girish Kasaravalli for Basanth productions 'Naayi Nerali' that has bagged two state awards last year is releasing in PVR cinema. Pavitra Lokesh, Sringeri Ramanna, Ananya Kasaravalli, Rameshwari Verma, Ashwin Bloar are in the lead roles of this film. S.Ramachandra is the cameraman. Isaac Thomas Kottukpalli has done the music for this film. This film is based on the popular novel of Dr.S.L.Byrappa. Basanthkumar Patil and Abhishek Patil are the producers of this film.
'Naayi Neralu' in the shadow of the dog is the mental make up of three generations of women the grand mother, the widowed daughter in law and the grand daughter. Each one is compelled to reinterpret her values of life, through which each one has her own 'rebirth'.
