Two Indian Americans make a huge donation to Tirupathi temple!

It’s a well known fact that Lord Venkateshwara temple in Tirupati recieves astronomical levels of donations each day. Now two Indian Americans have donated a whopping Rs.13.5 crore to the temple on Saturday.
Ika Ravi and Guthikonda Srinivas donated the sum to various trusts run by the temple. Both of them hail from Andhra Pradesh. While Ravi is the founder and CEO of a pharmaceutical compoany in Boston, Srinivas is the CEO of a software development and consulting firm in Florida.
Ravi donated Rs.10 crore and Srinivas has donated Rs.3.50 crore. The cheques were handed to the officials of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam(TTD) in the presence of AP’s Industry Minister Amarnath Reddy.
On an average basis the temple receives about Rs.60,000 to Rs.80,000 every day. It is also worth mentioning here that it is the richest temple in the world.
