After Vijay directed Idhu Enna Mayam` actor Vikram Prabhu has signed to play the lead role in Veera Sivaji` directed by Ganesh Vinayak of Thagararu` fame.The film will also be the first Tamil film for which popular child artist of the 1990s Shamlee has been signed up to play the lead heroine role.Robo Shankar of 'Maari' fame is playing an important supporting role in the film.

Veera Sivaji` is being produced by Madras Enterprises who started 2015 with the romantic comedy hit film Romeo Juliet`. D.Imman who scored music for Romeo Juliet` has been retained by the production house for Veera Sivaji` also.Sukumar will be handling the camera while Editing will be taken care by Rooben. Art director will be done by the National award winner Lalgudi Ilaiyaraja another National award winner Dinesh will choreograph dance movements for the songs. Dileep Subburayan will take care of stunt choreography.

The film was officially launched with a auspicious Pooja in Pondicherry today. Vikram Prabhu`s parents Prabhu and Punitha Prabhu, director Lakshman and many other celebrities graced the occasion.
