One super star film ‘Auto Raja’ and another social concern film on female feticide ‘Garbada Gudi’ are hitting the silver screen on this Friday.

The film ‘Auto Raja’ made with lot of care and affection by San City Girish and Vishwa Karyappa featuring golden star Ganesh, Bhama, Deepika Kamaiah in lead roles is a nostalgic to some extent from director Udaya Prakash who directed ‘Yogi and Kalla Malla Sulla’ hit films in the past.

Why it is nostalgic because it rakes up the memories of late Shanker Nag and Ganesh role as auto rickshaw driver in the film resemble the late actor. The film is a tribute to Shanker Nag from director Udaya Prakash. Even after 23 years of death of Shanker Nag he is alive from this film.

Golden star Ganesh has a very crucial Friday because he needs an urgent break to resurrect his box office position. We have seen a few of the super stars in Auto Driver get up – Dr Vishnuvardhana, Darshan, Sudeep, Upendra and others. Ganesh in Khaki in ‘Auto Raja’ is new addition. The film has got U/A certificate. Manjunath Naik is cameraman and Arjun Janya has scored the music for ‘Auto Raja’.

Veteran Om Sai Prakash 96th film ‘Garbada Gudi’ is for producer Bawaji. It is on ‘Broona Hathye’(female child killing in the womb). Saiprakash known for such bold and sentiment films has taken case studies to bring awareness among the public on the need of female strength in society. Anu Prabhakar plays doctor and wages a battle.

Mohan, Ramesh Bhat, Padmaja Rao, Girija Lokesh, Tennis Krishna, V Baawaji, Ranjana, prince Darshan, Sihikahi Chandru, Ravindranath, Manamohan are in the cast. C Narayan is cameraman and Vijay Srinivas has composed music for the film.
