One is three decades old novel based cinema and another is one decade old Tamil film remake cinema for this week.
The decade old Tamil film ÂThavasi starring Vijayakanth and Soundarya is the subject for crazy star V Ravichandran in double role film with Sadha and Seetha as his counterparts in ÂMallikarjunaÂ. It is a family story filled with vengeance that crops up when father find that the match for his son is a long time enemy daughter. How the young Ravichandran solve this problem and win the heart of Sada is the rest of the story in ÂMallikarjuna directed by Murali Mohan. For the Vidyasagar tunes SA Rajakumar has scored fresh tunes. GSV Seetharam is the cameraman. Ramya Barna, Sudhip Tho, Ashish Vidyarthi, Hema Chaudhary, Adhi Lokesh, MN Lakshmidevi, Raju Thalikote and others are in the cast.
The other film releasing this week is ÂNoorondu Baagilu - the popular novel of those days of MK Indira the prolific writer who is no more. It is about three decades ago MK Indira wrote the novel ÂNoorondu Baagilu  a house with 101 doors. It is a thriller in the family surroundings. The sizzling Biaenca Desai plays the prominent role with Kiran as cop and Thialk as photographer in this Vemgal Jagannath Rao directed film. V Manohar is the music director and Nagesh Achar is the cameraman.
