Roja and Meera Jasmine.

What is common between the two? Well, both are actresses who have acted in almost all the South Indian languages. Well, that’s obvious.

Okay, both have seen controversy attached to their names. The two have been linked to sugar-daddy directors. Roja in fact eventually married the man she was romantically associated with ---Selvamani. As far as Meera is concerned, there is no knowing the status of her relationship with her mentor Lohitha Das.

Is there more to the two actresses? Well, both Roja and Jasmine are names of flowers.

So with much common between the two, it is only natural that the two are coming together for a film.

As it happens, it is in a language that the two are not so comfortable with --- Kannada. Anyway both are happy that they doing a film together. Meera has a healthy respect for the professionalism of Roja while the latter admires the essential talent of the former.

Roja plays the mother-in-law of Meera in the Kannada remake of the Telugu hit Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammai.

Hopefully, the two have more fragrant times.
