In terms of mental make up, there cannot more dissimilar persons than Vadde Naveen and Sangeetha.

Both are at the opposite end of the mental spectrum.

But fate has pitted them together in a similar situation in a single film.

Vadde Naveen has not had a hit since heaven knows when. On the other hand, Sangeetha, despite proving herself in Sivaputrudu, has had a chequered career. Her last film Vijayendra Varma was an absolute wash out.

So Naa Oopiri offers them a good chance --- for Vadde Naveen to stage a comeback and for Sangeetha to prove once again that she is a talented actress.

Naa Oopiri, of course, promises nothing but wholesome entertainer. It is a mass masala movie.

Director Kanmani says that it will have everything to attract the average film-goer.

Vadde Naveen need a big hit to be in the hut and hence is said to have given his best. Sangeetha, who is also in Shivaji's film, has a typical role --- a mix of glamour and performance-based character.

The promos have been glitzy and promising.

But translating the promise into performance is in the hands of Vadde Naveen and Sangeetha.
