Twitter lands a big blow on Kangana Ranaut

Actress Kangana Ranaut has always shared her thoughts on Twitter with no filter whatsoever. It seems like Twitter officials have finally taken a notice of this as her account has been permanently suspended from the platform. This came after the actress made a series of controversial and agitating tweets after BJP's defeat in the recent elections in Bengal. There have been riots and acts of violence between rival party members. Kangana called this out and made some tweets vaguely calling for a genocide.
A Twitter spokesperson said, "We’ve been clear that we will take strong enforcement action on behaviour that has the potential to lead to offline harm. The referenced account has been permanently suspended for repeated violations of Twitter Rules specifically our Hateful Conduct policy and Abusive Behaviour policy. We enforce the Twitter Rules judiciously and impartially for everyone on our service."
Before this incident, Twitter has penalized Kangana on one or more ocassions for her extremist tweets. She often lashed out against the microblogging platform itself.
