Superstar Rajinikanth on Tuesday announced that he will not be stepping into politics. This comes just days after he declared that he will establish a political party in January. Reports even said that Auto Rikshaw has been chosen as the symbol of the new party. The legendary actor was supposed to make a speech on December 31. But, two days before the scheduled address, he has delivered this big twist.
In a statement, Rajini said that he has taken the decision in view of his health condition. He apologized to his supporters for not keeping his promise.
Rajini was recently hospitalized in Hyderabad after his BP fluctuated. He got discharged after various tests were done by the doctors. The tests showed normal results. In the latest statement, Rajini revealed that doctors have told him that the BP fluctuation would affect his transplanted kidney. "I am regularly taking immuno suppressant tablets so even the vaccine (against coronavirus) wouldn't help me much. I don't want to make my followers and fans as scapegoats to save myself from the critics," the 'Kabali' actor has been quoted as saying.
He suggested that his health has been sensitive after the kidney transplant in 2016. "The recent outbreak of COVID-19 on the sets of 'Annaatthe' is a warning from God," the '2.0' actor suggested.
IndiaGlitz wishes Rajini good health!
