It's known that a petition has been filed against Ram Gopal Varma's 'Murder' at the SC/ST court in Nalgonda. Its hearing was scheduled for Tuesday (today). The controversial director's lawyer couldn't submit RGV's statement to the court.

Reportedly, the lawyer told the court that his client is unable to give his statement on the petition against 'Murder' because he has been suffering from Covid-19.

This came as a twist in the tale. On Monday, just a day before, RGV took to Twitter and put out a video clip of him lifting weights in the gym. "I am super fit," he claimed, thrashing out the rumour that he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He added that he is making movies non-stop.

At the time of writing, RGV didn't comment further on the development.
