The Maharastra Assembly election results were out last week but the fight between the NDA alliance partners, BJP and Shiv Sena, is not a closed chapter yet. SS has demanded Chief Minister's post for 2.5 years for itself. On the other hand, BJP is not ready. It wants the CM post for the entire term.

CM Devendra Fadnavis today delivered a twist by saying that SS was never promised that it will be given CM's post for 2.5 years. He reiterated that he will be the CM till 2024.

Reacting to the development, Sanjay Raut of Shiv Sena said, "I don't know what the CM has said. If he is saying that the '50-50 formula' was never discussed, then I think we need to change the definition of truth. What was discussed, regarding the issue the CM is talking about, is known by all. The media was there."

The differences between the two saffron parties seem to be reaching a peak.
