Chiranjeevi on Monday said that he has tested positive for coronavirus. He has been at his home since then. On Thursday, the Megastar found out that the PCR test result was a false positive. A faulty kit was used for the test. Therefore, it didn't throw up an accurate result. His actual status has been covid negative.

"A group of doctors did three different tests and concluded that I am Covid negative & that the earlier result was due to a faulty RT PCR kit. My heartfelt thanks for the concern, love shown by all of you during this time. Humbled!" Chiru said.

In the last couple of days, the actor took to meditation and suspected that he didn't contract the virus. He went to a private hospital and got a CT scan. His chest was clear.

Chiru then went to a lab and got himself tested for covid with three different kits. Each of the tests came back negative.

The actor will join the shoot of 'Acharya' most likely.
