Director Anwar Rasheed and his crew have finalized the twins, who will be playing Mammootty's childhood, in the new film Annan Thambi.

Ten year old Sonu and Monu from Kozhenchery were finalized after a search drive that went on in two metros, which was attended by 154 set of twins of the similar ages. The film which will start by the 5th of January will feature the twins in many flashback sequences.

Monu and Sonu, sons of Sam John and Lissy Sam, who were keen on acting in films hail from Kozhenchery in Pathanamthitta district. From the smaller ages the twins, were winners in many mimicry and acting competitions.

The film which will have Mammootty in double roles will grace the theatres as a Vishu release, according to the present schedules.
