Twinkle Khanna has rubbished rumors of a split with hubby Akshay Kumar.

At a function to unveil the latest collection of Movado watches at Indigo here Friday, Twinkle said she was in Dubai attending a furniture fair when the rumors of a split started doing the rounds.

Twinkle, chosen to represent Movado in India, said: "It's strange how people make up stories saying I was in Goa having a fight with my hubby. Sadly, everyone even starts believing in that."

"I was in Dubai for a furniture fair when these rumors started appearing in the Indian media. I wonder how I could have fought with Akshay in Goa while I was busy shopping furniture for my clients at the fair," Twinkle told IANS.

Twinkle also appeared to be unfazed with rumors about a reported affair between Akshay and Priyanka.

Answering a question on how she was coping with the rumors, Twinkle said: "The fact that a leading daily carried an apology on their front page explains the truth, so I have stopped worrying about it and moved on."

She revealed that she had "no inclination" towards Bollywood any more.

"Bollywood never really interested me or was something that I really enjoyed. I had some 100 men staring at me while I was shooting. I prefer the life I'm living currently," she said smiling, as she hugged old friends from Bollywood Neelam and Madhoo, who were also present at the event.

Asked if she would venture into theatre if a good script came her way, Twinkle said she loved theatre. "I love experimenting and if something comes up maybe I will dabble with it."

Sporting a watch with a big dial, Twinkle revealed that she had a preference for "masculine watches". "I don't like feminine watches. So much so that I end up wearing Akshay's watches."
