Kamal Haasan's Mani Ratnam-directed 'Nayagan', which found a place in Time Magazine's 'All-Time 100 Best Films' list, is in its 25th year now.

To mark the occasion, Kamal has thanked those had worked in the film and those who had supported it.

In a letter, the 'Ulaga Nayagan' (as he is fondly called in Tamil Nadu) has expressed his gratitude to Mani Ratnam, Ilayaraja, P C Sreeram, Thotta Tharani, Balakumaran, Pudumai Pithan, Sarika, Muktha Srinivasan and Ramasamy.

Kamal said he and Mani Ratnam are continuously making efforts to make good cinema and wished him all the success on Mani's forthcoming release, Kadal.

Meanwhile, producer Muktha Srinivasan has filed a case against Kamal for the latter's remarks in an article penned by him in an English daily published yesterday.
