TV9's Ravi Prakash absconding, search on

The CEO of TV9 news channel, Ravi Prakash, is believed to be absconding. The Telangana police are searching for him in connection with a forgery case.
The forgery case has come into focus following a complaint lodged by Alanda Media Entertainments secretary Kaushik Rao. Alanda Media had bought 90 percent shares in the TV channel last August.
Ravi has been facing allegations of over-ruling the majority shareholders despite possessing only 8 percent of shares in TV9. As a result, differences have cropped up between him and the new management.
The management has ousted Ravi from the position of CEO following the forgery complaint.
