TV star as Kareena's sister

The beautiful girl dancing with Kareena Kapoor in the promos of the forthcoming Jab We Met is none other than Saumya Tandon, the star of the recent hit Star Plus soap, Meri Awaz Ko Mil Gayee Roshni.

Saumya, who plays the character of Ria in the popular soap, is essaying the role of Kareena's sister who lives in the Punjabi town of Patiala in Jab We Met.

It's a short but significant role, she remarks. And it's a complete no make-up look. The cinematographer asked me to wash off all my make-up on day one when I reported for shoot! she laughs.
