TV actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Kamya Punjabi lashed out at a social media user who shamed her for her failed first marriage. The actress shared a screenshot of both their comments on her Twitter page as well.

In a video Kamya had shared about women empowerment on her Instagram handle, a user had commented, “You failed to save your first marriage and got divorced. Then you married for the second time. This is the limit.” Responding to the remark, the actress wrote, “So? Do I not have the right to remain happy? Should a woman die if she gets divorced? Does divorce end a woman’s life? Every girl needs to raise her voice against people with a mindset like yours. And, they are raising their voices. Do not think of me as weak, I am a woman and I can fight.”

Kamya Panjabi was married to businessman Bunty Negi for 10 years before they parted ways in 2013. She has a daughter, Aara, from her first marriage, who was born in 2009. The actress later married Delhi based doctor Shalabh Dang in February 2020.
